Volunteer Photographer

In grade 11 and grade 12 I volunteered in many functions happening in Yorkton at the time to help photograph events happening all over town. I took pictures for Gymnastics International, Friday Night Lights, Rally in the Alley, and even participated in a school advertisement.

Springside Lions Club Volunteer

In my home town, the Lions Club hosts pancake breakfasts sometimes to raise money. I would go to the town hall to set up and takedown, I would also serve pancakes and assist anyone who needed the help. The Lions Club also holds a Bingo night once a month every Monday. I would again go help set up and takedown, and I would also help sell the bingo cards and raffle tickets.

Springside in Bloom Member

I was a member for 3 years, this group plants flowers and makes our town a more pleasing place to see. I would attend monthly meetings, and I painted the old picnic tables and set out garbage cans and the picnic tables at places where we thought would be set. As a result, to raise money for flowers every year, I would go door to door and collect bottles and sort them to be taken into sarcan.

Springside Skating Club Coach

I have been taking figure skating lessons since I was three years old and eventually, once I was old enough I started to teach and help the younger kids. I helped all ages to improve their skating skills and filled in for the coach when she was absent. Once it started getting closer to carnival season I would help the children set up a routine. I also helped to set up and take down carnival decorations.
